From the State an agreement has been reached during the negotiation of the approval of the General State Budgets (PGE), including in them a measure that can benefit almost half a million pensioners .

The measure consists of the extension of the aid that was launched in the summer, and which involved an extraordinary increase of 15% in pensions , which aims to alleviate the increase in costs that self-employed workers have been suffering.

This increase affects non-contributory pensions, Permanent Disability and Retirement , which are collected by around 440,000 people.

Although this rise was originally scheduled to last until December 31, 2022, it will finally continue in 2023 . This is a great relief for people who have not reached the minimum contribution requirements and who will see their benefits increased above inflation next year.
