On 29 January, the Generalitat Valenciana approved DECREE 18\/2021, of 29 January, of the Consell, on the approval of the regulatory bases and direct granting of aid for workers affected by an ERTE derived from the health crisis due to Covid-19. Due to the worsening of the Covid-19 health crisis, there has been a considerable increase in the number of work contract suspensions and reductions in working hours for economic, technical, organisational or production reasons, or due to force majeure (Temporary Employment Regulation Files -ERTE-) as a result of Covid-19, with the consequent reduction in income that determines the need to establish urgent and extraordinary aid to complement the corresponding benefits for workers affected by these ERTEs to alleviate this reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This aid is provided through the payment of a monthly supplement both to workers who are still in a situation of ERTE and to those who may be affected by the new impediments or limitations in the development of normalised economic activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
